   A beautiful watch that I enjoy using. The beautiful screen combined with the heart rate monitor works very well. Definitely an improvement over the previous model.

   i had never used a smartwatch before, so i was very curious about what you could actually gain from such a device. first impression: cool! easy to use and looks good. at work, i notice that it does have some advantages, i often walk in loud surroundings and don't hear the phone ring, with a smartwatch on my wrist, i haven't missed a call yet. reading and answering messages is also fine, even though it's a small screen. i do think the watch is slow to wake up... what really disappoints me is the battery life... this morning i took it fully off the charger and now at 21:20 it has just switched on the power saving mode, 15%, and i haven't even played with it yet. don't know what to think yet, 2 days should be at least possible. After a few days in use, I do notice that the battery lasts longer. A whole day certainly works, though if you go to sleep under the charger.

   ik had nog nooit een smartwatch gebruikt dus was ik zeer benieuwd naar wat je nu eigenlijk aan zo een apparaat hebt. eerste indruk; gaaf! handig in gebruik en ziet goed uit. op met werk merk ik dat ik er toch wel voordelen mee heb, ik loop vaak in luide omgeving en hoor nog al eens de telefoon niet overgaan, met een smartwatch om je pols heb ik nog geen gesprek gemist. berichten lezen en beantwoorden gaat ook prima, ook al is het een klein schermpje. wel vind ik dat het horloge traag wakker word... wat me toch wel echt tegen valt is de batterijduur... vanochtend vol van de lader gehaald en nu 21:20 heeft ie net de spaarstand aan gezet, 15% en dan heb ik er nog niet eens mee gespeeld. weet nog niet wat ik van moet vinden, 2 dagen zou toch wel minimaal moeten kunnen. Na een aantal dagen in gebruik merk ik wel dat de batterij langer mee gaat. Een hele dag lukt zeker, wel als je gaat slapen onder de lader.

   I have had the Fossil Q gen 4 for about a month now and am very happy with it. The watch looks sleek and works quickly and smoothly. What I really like is that the watch is waterproof so you don't have to worry if it rains, for example. It is also nice that it now has a heart rate sensor. I do find it very unfortunate that this watch does not have a speaker, as the previous generation did. Another disadvantage is that the battery does not last longer than a day with me, but the Fossil Q gen 4 is certainly not the only smartwatch on the market that suffers from this. All in all, I think it's a fine watch and if you don't mind the 1-day battery life, it's definitely recommended!

   Ik heb de Fossil Q gen 4 nu ongeveer een maand en ben er erg tevreden over. Het horloge ziet er strak uit en werkt snel en soepel. Wat ik heel fijn vind is dat het horloge waterdicht is en dat je je dus geen zorgen hoeft te maken als het bijv. regent. Ook is het leuk dat er nu een hartslagsensor op zit. Ik vind het wel erg jammer dat dit horloge geen speaker heeft, de vorige generatie had dit namelijk wel. Een ander nadeel is dat de batterij bij mij niet langer dan een dag meegaat, maar de Fossil Q gen 4 is zeker niet de enige smartwatch op de markt die daar last van heeft. Al met al vind het ik het prima horloge en als je de accuduur van 1 dag geen probleem vindt, is het zeker een aanrader!
