   Yes. I have a favourite similar old gold-metal Timex watch with Indiglo so I knew what to expect

   • The large Arabic numerals and additional 24-hour numerals
   • The Indiglo system for checking the time in the dark
   • The date indicator

   • The leather strap - high friction prevents wearing the watch under a buttoned cuff as you can't slide the cuff over the watch to look at it
   • The retaining bands on the strap keep sliding off the loose end
   • I have replaced the strap with a thinner, more slippery metal one
