The Certina DS Concept?

The Certina DS Concept stands for Double Security. This means that all Certina DS watches are equipped with patented double gaskets in the case and (screw) crown so that the mechanical watch is extra protected against shocks and water. Certina developed the basis of this concept back in the 1950s and since then the sea turtle with its protective shell has been the symbol of Certina.

Innovative new automatic movement with titanium balance spring

Certina's movements are made with the greatest care for extra security. The innovative titanium Nivachron ™ balance spring in the powerful, automatic Powermatic 80 movement protects against magnetic fields and offers excellent resistance to shock and temperature changes.

The DS PH200M: Strong and beautiful

At nearly 43mm in size, the DS PH200M is relatively modest in size given the watch's specifications. The particularly stylish design with a retro twist impresses with its sublime finish and details.

The slightly curved rotating diving bezel is particularly striking. It is made of scratch-resistant, shiny ceramic, which gives the watch a pleasant feel and a friendly, chic look.

The dial is lacquered in a glossy colour, which makes the date display stand out and gives the whole visual depth. The watch is fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on both the front and back. The glass is convex at the front, which fits nicely with the bezel and further enhances the elegant design. The case lid offers a view of the subtly constructed rotor that drives the Powermatic timepiece with up to 80 hours of power reserve.
