BBB: Swatch Big Bold Bioceramic

Big Bold is Swatch's Maxi watch line. Larger than life (47 mm), striking and cheerful! In May, Swatch introduced the new Big Bold Bioceramic. The same, fresh, big watch, now made from an innovative new material: Bioceramic.

A new look at ceramics

Bioceramic is ceramic, but different. It is stronger and it feels very soft at the same time. The material consists of a mix of 2/3 ceramic and 1/3 bioplastic made from castor oil. The result is a lightweight, resilient watch that feels silky smooth to the touch.

BBB represents a new revolution in used material for watches: Big Bold Bioceramic. What better watch to show this brand new material off with than the Big Bold? The deep, sleek case has a diameter of 47 mm and offers more than enough space to let the pure properties of Bioceramic shine. The watch strap, the glass and the loops are made of bioplastic.

Fresh colours for spring and summer

The Big Bold Bioceramic is already available in black, white and three soft pastel colours that perfectly match this season's fashion. With summer approaching, four new models in fresh colour combinations will soon be released.

Going into wide open space with the Big Bold x NASA

Also available soon: The Big Bold Space collection. Inspired by real space suits from NASA. In small details, these watches inspire you to think big and let your imagination run wild.

For example, the Extravehicular watch's chronotimer is not set to the full hour as usual, but ten seconds before and marked red, as a nod to the last countdown before takeoff.
