Brand inspiration at Watch.co.uk

A new logo

Posted 1 October 2024 by Miriam Reading time approximately 2 minutes

New look, trusted service

Regular customers In Rotterdam and Breda have probably already noticed: suddenly there was a new logo on the facade of the our shop. And from today - October 2, 2024 - the look of our website has also changed with a new logo and new colours.

A brief history of Holland Watch Group

What started in 1994 as Squiggly - a platform for the sale of Vintage Swatch watches - has grown into Holland Watch Group; Ten watch web shops in Europe of which Watch.co.uk is one. In addition to the European sites, HWG also operates one worldwide website: Mastersintime.com. And HWG also runs two Horloge.nl shops in Rotterdam and Breda and a Horloge.be store in Antwerp.

More unity on all sites

The company has grown strongly in the past 10 years. Not only in the number of websites, but also in the range and quality of watches and watch strap brands. The old style therefore no longer matched where we are now as a company.

Because the company has grown little by little and new sites were added along the way, all Holland Watch Group sites had their own logo and colour. For example, Horloge.nl was of course orange, Horloge.be was red and Watch.co.uk was blue. Very nice, but also very inefficient, because this also meant different packaging, different print items, etc. We were clearly ready for an update!

The new Watch.co.uk style

Our new logo consists of an icon and a logo. The icon is now the same for all sites and shops. The new icon is the visual translation of the word watch, and at the same time symbolizes our knowledge and passion for the technology behind this beautiful product.

The new font is a lot more mature than the old typeface. It is clear, classic, but also with quirky elements. Just like Watch.co.uk!

And finally, our corporate identity colours have also been adjusted. No more bright orange or bright red. The new colours are calmer and more neutral. This makes them more widely applicable and better suited to the company we are today.

Ready for the next 30 years!

Our look and appearance may have changed, but you can continue to expect the familiar service and offering from us; More than 80 watch brands, the largest range of branded watch straps in the Benelux and our own in-house watchmakers. Watches are our passion and with this new style we are ready for the next 30 years!
