Frederique Constant has created a mechanical wonder, that will keep track on all the days of our lives for a century at a time, the FC-775 Perpetual Calendar. Produced and assembled by the FC watchmakers in Plan-les-Ouates ateliers, the FC-775 automatic calibre drives the hour and minute hands and a perpetual calendar. The FC-775 calibre beats at a Frequency of 4 HZ (28’8000 vibrations per hour), has 26 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve.
With just 191 parts this movement is a small miracle that will show the correct time and date for 100 years.
Inset buttons are made to easily adjust the calendar mechanism in case you haven't worn the watch for a while. The button near 5 o’clock advances the moonphase, the other near 8 o’clock is used for the date of the week, and the third button at 10 o’clock advances the day and date. When you adjust your perpetual calendar, you need to set the date first and then the day. To finish, the button near 11o’clock displays the month and the leap year at the same time.
Appreciated as a masterpiece in its simplicity and refinement, this watch will show the lunar cycles but also the minutes, hours, date, day, month and leap year.
This Frederique Constant watch has a case made of Steel silver with a diameter of 42 mm and is fitted with a leather strap. Inside the case lies a Frederique Constant movement and the watch features a Sapphire crystal.
The watch is 3ATM. This means the watch is splash waterproof. The watch comes with 2 Year Warranty.
