Clasps

A clasp or buckle - all kind of terms that can be mentioned in one breath when talking about types of watch closures. A watch can have different types of closures including butterfly clasps, folding clasps, milanese clasps and buckles. Here, the type of clasp determines how the watch strap should be fastened around the wrist. In addition, the type of watch closure also differs in appearance and safety. For example, a butterfly clasp is often used with exclusive watches in the higher price ranges or watches with a steel strap. A folding clasp can never slip off your wrist because the band forms one piece.

Watch closures are also available individually at Watch.co.uk. Ideal when your current clasp is no longer appealing because of the many scratches, or when you prefer a different color. We have folding clasps in (rosé) gold, silver and black in our assortment. You can also choose the number of millimetres.
