Seiko Kinetic watches

In 1988, Seiko launched their first kinetic watch under the name of A.G.S. Kinetic energy is power generated by motion. Seiko's aim was to limit the use of batteries to a minimum in developing this unique technique where the motion of the wearer charges the watch battery. Kinetic energy is an efficient system and environmentally friendly because the battery of watch doesn't need to be replaced, the water resistance of the watch is guaranteed for a longer period.

A Seiko Kinetic watch needs no battery replacement as it’s powered by kinetic energy. In other words: motion. This has a few perks, one of which being the lifespan of 10 years. Seiko’s kinetic watches are a combination of Quartz and automatic watches; hybrids if you will. The Kinetic watches come at a reasonable price point and offer the usual Seiko quality and style. Go for a watch that requires little to no maintenance and proper waterproof capacities.
