What is a Limited Edition Watch? 

A limited edition watch is a watch that is produced only once in a limited edition. Because only a few copies of a limited edition are made, these watches are a popular object for collectors. Usually a limited edition watch is numbered on the back, for example 1/1000. 

A special edition is generally a variant of an existing model with a different colour, material, special movement or a collaboration with a well-known artist or athlete. A special edition watch is also only produced for a short period of time, but there is no limit to the number of watches. 

In general, both limited edition and special edition watches come in a special box, sometimes with a little something extra like a spare strap or bracelet.
