Garmin Lily; The first smartwatch designed especially for women

Of course I don't know how you feel about it, but the reason that I have not yet purchased a smartwatch myself is that they are usually very large and do not fit my wrist. Fortunately Garmin also saw this problem for women and has now developed a small smartwatch especially for us; The Garmin Lily.

Small, but with an easy-to-read touchscreen

The fact that smartwatches are generally larger has everything to do with the fact that quite a bit of technology has to be put into it. Garmin has nevertheless succeeded in being the first to create a small smartwatch. Lily is only 35 mm in diameter! Still, Lily functions exactly like her bigger siblings.

The display has been developed in such a way that it not only looks good, but also has sufficient contrast to be legible. When you wear the watch, the screen has a subtle pattern, so it is not immediately apparent that it is a smartwatch. You activate the screen with a simple wrist movement or tap.

All functions you would expect from a smartwatch

As you would expect from a modern touchscreen smartwatch, the watch contains all functions that make a smartwatch "smart". You will receive phone, text and email notifications on your wrist. You can even reply to text messages if you have an Android ™ phone.

Track your steps, sleep, calories burned, heart rate, energy level, health data and more.

And with a battery that lasts up to 5 days before Lily needs to be recharged, she's a real champ.

Especially for women

In addition to the size, the design of Lily has also been carefully considered. An international team of female developers has paid attention to all details. The result is a watch that looks like a fashion accessory, with feminine colors and patterns that complement both classic and sporty clothing.

The straps are made of supple leather and water-resistant silicone rubber, and have subdued colors, making the watch suitable for any style.

It goes without saying that Lily contains the functions especially developed for monitoring women's health, including menstrual cycle and pregnancy.

Two lines: Classic and and Sport

Choose from classic and sporty designs with different colours, materials and interchangeable straps, including leather and silicone, so you always have the perfect accessory to match your look. 

The Sport Edition has a silicone strap and lightweight aluminum bezel. The Classic Edition has an Italian leather strap and stainless steel bezel.

The display pattern on the Classic models is derived from monograms of luxury brands and structures of classic clothing. The pattern on the Sport models is inspired by shapes from nature and wellness.

Garmin Lily 2: improved screen, Garmin Pay and vegan leather

The second generation Garmin Lily was launched at the beginning of 2024. These new models have new colors, new screen designs and an improved clear TFT touchscreen.

Just like the first generation Lily, the models from the Classic line are supplied with a leather strap. What is new is that models are now also available with vegan leather straps, made from, for example, mulberry.

And the last important new addition is Garmin Pay. With this functionality you can make contactless payments just like with your smartphone. Handy if you are going to exercise and don't have a wallet with you! If you want to use Garmin Pay, check in advance whether this feature is available on the model you choose, as well as whether this service is available in your country/region and with your bank.
