At first glance the Hamilton Aviation H64615135 looks like a ‘ordinary’ large pilot watch. But, as so often with Hamilton watches, the details tell a different story. First of all the steel indices are applied on the dial for extra depth. Zoom in further and you will see they have fine ridges, which play with the light beautifully at any angle.

Secondly, the lumen on the hands is applied just so the hands align with their respective rings, with the lumed element on the hour marker lining up with the inner hour ring, and the lumed tip of the minute hand starting there. This guarantees perfect visibility in the dark. And lastly, Hamilton’s long lasting involvement in movies has the H64615135 starring on Matthew Mcconaughey’s wrist in the movie Interstellar.

The watch is powered by a Hamilton H-40 automatic movement with a stellar power reserve of 80 hours.
