   Beautiful watch. Blue colour very nice and the relief has more or less dominance depending on the light. Case completely smooth polished. Band has quite light construction but wears comfortably. Beware: lug size is 19mm instead of the indicated 20mm. Are some less affordable bands available. By the way KUL that the description says it would have a Seiko movement. CITIZEN has its own watch factory with the world-famous miyota movements. This therefore contains a miyota 8229A. I think this is a recent modification in the 8200 series. Note that this one just does have hacking! Despite the specs saying there is no hacking in it. Out of the box first 24 hours carry +7 sec. Good chance that if he sleeps at night on his stomach or on the crown side this will be compensated. I am happy with it, finally a Citizen next to all my Seiko,s. Still have to get used to the sound of the rotor spinning unidirectionally. It doesn't bother me because it belongs to Citizen/Miyota.

   Mooi horloge. Blauwe kleur erg mooi en het reliëf heeft meer of minder dominantie al naargelang de lichtinval. Kast helemaal glad gepolijst. Band heeft vrij lichte constructie maar draagt comfortabel. Pas op: lugmaat is 19mm ipv de aangegeven 20mm. Zijn wat minder voordelige banden verkrijgbaar. Trouwens KUL dat in de beschrijving staat dat er een Seiko uurwerk in zou zitten. CITIZEN heeft een eigen uurwerfabriek met de wereldbekende miyota uurwerken. Hier zit dan ook een miyota 8229A in. Volgens mij een recente aanpassing in de 8200 serie. Let op: deze heeft gewoon wel hacking! Ondanks de specs die zeggen dat er geen hacking in zit. Out of the box eerste 24 uur dragen +7 sec. Goed kans dat als hij s nachts op zijn buik of op de kroon zijde slaapt dit wordt gecompenseerd. Ik ben er blij mee, eindelijk een Citizen naast al mijn Seiko,s. Moet nog wel even wennen aan het geluid van de rotor die unidirectional draait. Het stoort mij niet want hoort bij Citizen/Miyota.
