Before the new watch strap can be installed, the old one must be removed. This can be done by means of the pushpins. These pushpins connect your belt with both sides of the watch case. See the video above.
Some watch straps have easy pushpins, for example straps of the brands Cluse and Fossil. Because there is an extra pin, it can be removed more easily. By moving this pin to the left, the strap automatically pops loose. In the next video you will be guided through the process of changing your watch strap with an easy pushpin. The steps below the video only apply to watch straps without an easy pushpin. These can therefore be left out of consideration.

Last but not least, also Swatch straps can be replaced. This is done in a different way than other brands. See the video below for instructions.
Another type of watch strap is a Nato watch strap. Although this type of strap is completely different from the other watch straps described above, a Nato strap can also easily be disassembled. See the video below.
